The Continuous Improvement Club was formed in 2008. Its member companies recognise that continuous improvement can only be achieved through performance measurement.

The success of the club is founded on the commitment and participation of its member companies. Senior representatives, MDs and Board Directors, develop and drive the club's continuous improvement policies. They meet annually to review and analyse data; refine the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); set targets and objectives for the Club; agree the continuous improvement workshops programme and topics/issues to be addressed. They are supported by their company Continuous Improvement Managers, who meet quarterly. The KPIs are grouped into four main categories or Critical Success Factors (CSFs):

  • Health & Safety
  • Time
  • Cost
  • Quality
  • People
  • Environment
  • Considerate Constructors Scheme

The Club is facilitated by Vassos Chrysostomou of IBE Partnership. Each member company's data and information from projects above £250K required for the club is gathered and reported quarterly by 'data collectors' using a dedicated software tool provided by IBE Partnership.
